Apparently, Mother’s Day weekend is a popular occasion to have one’s dog groomed. Friday morning, there were people coming and going with shepherds, spaniels, a St Bernard, and a Golden Retriever (And that was before 11 AM!). It might be that (doggie-) Aunt Sarah is allergic to dog hair, so a mom will get her Goldie bathed before her daughter’s visit on Sunday. Or perhaps someone’s Twenty-something son trapsing earlier with his dog through the Mission Trails Park, knows his mom is allergic to the pollen worked into Bruno’s coat. Before seeing Mom red-eyed and sniffling, never a good look on “her” day, he too, takes the dog to the dog wash. A clean dog is a happy dog – and you also will make a happy mom.
Clean dogs make moms happy
I had no idea that Mother’s Day weekend was such a popular time for dog grooming! It makes sense though, especially if someone in the family has allergies to dog hair or pollen. It’s a thoughtful gesture to have your furry friend bathed before visiting mom on her special day. Plus, who doesn’t love a clean and happy dog? Thanks for sharing this unique insight, it’s always interesting to learn about different traditions and habits.

thank you doggycrush for taking an interest here. There’s a time to pamper moms and a time to pamper pooches – for moms! And a doggy wash is just the trick
