At a dog park on a pleasant Friday morning the old and the young, large and the small, the playful and the even-tempered socialize. The same can be said for their dogs. Chitchat about playful dogs, a lady offering cupcakes -followed by one particular mutt, exceedingly hopeful that he might share in one, and one dog patiently and repeatedly discouraging Dexter and Comet’s overtures made for a good Friday. That this day is for some, a day of remembrance for a death two millennia ago, is not lost on me, as I have learned it was in exchange for the life, I have led for 25 years. Whether others will seek to learn why the day is “Good” is not assured, though I am prepared to help others to take up their Cross and follow Him.
After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities
