The righteous care for the needs of their animals, – Proverbs 12:10
For three Saturday mornings in a row, while the Man has been sidelined after surgery, Dexter and Comet have still held to their routine. I am unable to personally take our furry friends to the Mission Trails Park ( or as is the case today, Lake Murray) for the prayer-walk. But walking with my friends Dan, Rob, Ed, and Paul, prayer-dogs do not seem any less enthusiastic. Dan brings them home and they plop into cushions.
For the past couple weeks, the dogs have missed my company on daily walks. Yet, handing leashes over this Saturday morning, I note they will go with anyone if a walk is promised. And while I believe in all the years of walking on Saturday, neither dog has had a spiritual transformation ( speaking aloud like Balaam’s donkey – Numbers 22:28), their prayers may have been answered anyway.
It’s lovely that your friends take the dogs on their Saturday walks. I hope you are feeling better. Let me know if I can be of any further help on your blog project. 🙂

Thank you! I am mending slowly. It is great to have such friends in my city and bloggers in the online world! If I knew what I was doing, and knew the questions to ask, I would right now!
