While many of us look to government representatives to provide direction, and scientists to find a cure for the COVID-19 virus, I am encouraged by every new Disciple of Jesus. In desperate times, those who have sought the Truth of God, and are found by Him, obtain peace, hope, and security. Over thousands of years, farmers, engineers, fishermen, kings and astronauts have been transformed by the Power of the Word. In droughts, famines, wars, and epidemics, faith in God is contagious. Ask someone who is a disciple of Jesus – where their life and their words are in accordance with God’s Word – to study the Bible with you.
