Recently my request to our Facilities department at work was completed a few months after my initial submission. I work in a cramped lab, which until a few weeks ago was made even more cramped by a security barrier at the entrance.
After several months, in place of a curtain or flexible barrier that could be folded away in the event of an emergency, Facilities provided an opaque white plastic shower curtain on a rail system. That’s when my ideas started coming – if you want to ridicule something, do it with flair, I say: Barney, PowerRangers, Avengers, or perhaps some striking graphics.
Cut to today. Social media has given me even more to research – in the name of “Occupational Health and Safety”, of course.
