It is not quite 7 AM. On a Sunday. Who was it that said, “Let sleeping dogs lie”? I think that is a good idea this morning.
No sound of coyotes hunting rabbits this morning.
My neighbor’s motorcycle ride on Sundays will not rev up for another couple hours.
My wife-manager has not yet received a call needing her to open a door at her work; her school has nursing class scheduled on weekends.
It is a fine morning. But the day will grow hot and my nature is to be lazy.
Not today. Worshipping God this morning is both my calling, pleasure – and my act of service. Leading the ushers.
So, I need to rouse the sleeping dogs and get them a morning walk.
